Acceptable Use and Prohibited End Uses Policy

1. Purpose

ChemCapital is intended for lawful, professional, business-to-business use. This policy sets out conduct and end uses that are prohibited on the platform.

2. General prohibited conduct

You must not use ChemCapital to: a) break the law; b) misrepresent identity, authority, certifications, compliance status, pricing, or technical capability; c) upload unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, or deceptive content; d) harass, threaten, abuse, or defraud others; e) attempt unauthorised access, scraping, disruption, or interference with the service; f) bypass platform security, account controls, billing controls, or attribution rules.

3. Prohibited products, services, and end uses

You must not use ChemCapital in connection with: a) weapons, munitions, or weapon systems; b) explosives, energetic materials, propellants, or related prohibited manufacturing capabilities; c) chemical warfare agents, precursors intended for prohibited use, or related weaponisation activity; d) unlawful military end use or restricted defence activity; e) sanctioned or restricted end users, destinations, or intermediaries; f) illegal narcotics, unlawful controlled-substance manufacturing, or unlawful precursor activity; g) any end use prohibited by applicable sanctions, export-control, anti-terrorism, or similar laws.

4. Suspicion standard

If you know, suspect, or reasonably should suspect that a request, buyer, supplier, destination, or project may involve prohibited activity, you must stop using the platform for that activity and contact ChemCapital immediately.

5. Our rights

ChemCapital may: a) reject or remove listings, RFQs, quotes, or documents; b) request additional information; c) suspend or terminate accounts; d) preserve records; e) notify relevant authorities or counterparties where required or reasonably necessary.

6. No screening promise

ChemCapital may carry out checks, moderation, or reviews, but does not promise to screen every user, document, product, or transaction. Users remain responsible for their own due diligence and legal compliance.

7. Reporting concerns

Concerns about prohibited use, sanctions risk, illegal goods or services, or abuse may be reported to office@chemcapital.at with the subject line: Report Abuse / Prohibited Use – ChemCapital
